After a long winter doing market research & analysis, growing our network and sending Stefan, Martin and Andrew on multiple occasions to perform interviews and explore some interesting client-lead opportunities in Warsaw, we have decided to take the next step and begin establishing an on-the-ground presence in Poland to offer our products and services to organisations looking to restructure and optimise their Business Process Outsourcing-based operating models.

Tapping into our network we found Bartek Kubicki, a Warsaw resident since 2014 and a well-known sell-side analysts dealing with capital markets servicing both domestic and international institutional clients.

Willing to accept the challenge, Bartek has been designated as our lead point-of-contact for Polish business development and will be responsible to build a team of locals to assist us in client on boarding and ongoing client relationship management.

Furthermore, while actively seeking Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement know-how, we found Jaroslaw Licznerski who quickly proved to us that his knowledge of the local markets and his successful track record engaging clients in operational excellence cost-reduction initiative proposals would bring an immediate value add to our software sales team.

Why Poland?

In recent years, Poland has become a dynamic country of rapid growth and innovation offering thousands of jobs not only to business process outsourcing centres of excellences, but also to sectors such as human resources, research and development, legal process outsourcing, web development, and the IT industry which has begun using Poland as a data & IT management outsourcing centre of excellence. With more than 500 universities in Poland, its workforce is young, skilled, English-speaking, and highly educated. Furthermore, having a CET time zone allows Poland to service clients in both the eastern and western hemispheres simultaneously in the same working day.

As multinational organisations continue to adopt functionalised business operating models and aim to profit from the synergies offered by economies of scale, Poland's infrastructure, economy and work force offers robust support and high quality servicing with their dynamic centres of excellences. Furthermore, in most recent years the 'Principles of Lean' have become quite the trend in Polish continuous improvement programs offering quite the opportunity for TOPP TI and our operational excellence automated product line.
